LDC Grazing Team Leader Neil Cupples.
Neil Cupples back to lead LDC grazing team
Neil Cupples has returned to NQ Dry Tropics after a stint working for the NSW Soil Conservation Service.
We’re glad to welcome him back as LDC Grazing Team Leader. His previous role with the company was as Soil Conservation Officer, focusing mostly on the Upper and Eastern Burdekin areas.
He’s familiar with the BBB because he has completed landscape rehabilitation projects in the catchment and he may be a familiar face to some in the area.
Neil has been an agricultural scientist for more than 20 years working as a soil scientist with the Queensland Department of Resources, private consulting companies, and the NSW Department of Primary Industries. He has also worked as an environmental scientist on construction projects with the Department of Main Roads, QGC (formerly Queensland Gas Company) and Powerlink.
Neil has admitted to having a fairly average memory for names – so please cut him some slack! He will be based at the Bowen office and is keen to hit the ground running and talk with graziers about completing grazing management and landscape remediation projects.
Contact him on ph 0418 390 406, or, by email: neil.cupples@nqdrytropics.com.au.
