LDC presentation at the Australian Water Association Qld Conference

NQ Dry Tropics’ LDC MERI officer Barb Colls speaking at the conference with Sheyanne Frisby.

Delegates attending this year’s Australian Water Association Queensland Conference heard about the LDC project, and what it has taught us in terms of landscape remediation and practice change, and improving water quality in waterways and the Great Barrier Reef lagoon.

Titled Landholders Driving Change: Remediating Gully Erosion from The Ground Up, the paper was presented by Sheyanne Frisby, SMEC (who worked as LDC’s Landscape Remediation officer in 2019) & Barbara Colls, NQ Dry Tropics’ LDC MERI officer.

This year’s conference theme was ‘Sharing Learnings: A Growth Opportunity’. It was held on November 18-19 at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre.
